Lower Thirds

Postby Davoid » Wed Apr 13, 2011 7:03 pm

Hello,
Just purchased the software and looking forward to creating some effects. I was wondering if there is a way to create a "Lower Thirds" effect to incorporate in a Video Editing package and if so how do I create this.
Thanks for any help.

Hello Alexey,

Lower Thirds is like on a movie and they have text and some effects along the bottom third playing for a short time. Here is the Wiki link with the meaning http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lower_third

In the television industry (especially in North America), a lower third is a graphic placed in the lower area of the screen

Magic Particles is program for creating the special effects. You can export the special effects in avi, png, tga, bmp, psd, jpg. Also you can use alpha channel and zoom the special effect. Export any special effect and work with png in other program, for example, Adobe After Effects.
